The males are 55-80 pounds and the females are 45-70 pounds. Shoulder height for males is 24-27 inches; females are 23-26 inches. The coat of the hounds is long and needs frequent cleaning and bathing at least once a week. Regular brushing maintains the gloss. You may choose adult dogs for sale or a puppy may be found at kennels in many states.
